Higher Voltage, More Power
Why 36V Instead of 24V
The hub motor kit draws more power than the smaller 350W conversion, which is why it pairs with a 36V pack instead of the 24V used on the entry-level kit, same capacity, higher voltage for the stronger motor.

Description
This is the battery that ships with, and also sells separately as a spare for, the 16″ hub motor conversion kit. Same 5.2Ah capacity as the 24V pack, stepped up to 36V for the higher-output motor kit.
As with the 24V pack, this battery is built specifically for bikes running the XRT Moto conversion kit, not a drop-in for a stock, unmodified Stacyc.
Keeping a second 36V pack charged is the simplest way to extend a riding session without an in-between charging wait, swap in the spare and keep going.
36V vs. 24V — match voltage to your motor kit, not your bike’s wheel size
